Manu Chao dice NO a la Minería en Maracaibo!! - Manu Chao says NO to Mining in Maracaibo!!

Integrantes de la Fuerza de Mujeres Wayuu y la Organización Indígena Maikiraalasali fueron invitados por Manu Chao en el concierto de La Ventura en la ciudad de Maracaibo, Venezuela el 25 de marzo a tomar la tarima donde hicieron pronunciamientos en contra la criminalización de la lucha indígena, la minería, la persecución de Sabino Romero y en pro del reconocimiento del los territorios de la Pueblos Yukpa y Barí y el agua, tierra y dignidad de la Sierra de Perijá.

Members of the Fuerza de Mujeres Wayuu and the Organización Indígena Maikiraalasali were invited by Manu Chao to take the stage at the La Ventura concert in Maracaibo, Venezuela on March 25. The organizations spoke against the criminalization of the indigenous struggle, mining and the persecution of Sabino Romero and for the recognizing of the territories of the Yukpa and Barí peoples and the water, land and dignity of the Sierra de Perijá.
